Lucent NetCare (formerly International Network Services) chose Insight to manage and develop its media relations campaign across Europe following a four way pitch to the US marketing team in summer 1998.
Liaising directly with the US until the appointment of a UK marketing director in May 1999, Insight launched and built up a momentum of media interest for INS around the issues of networking consultancy, Voice over IP and network performance monitoring.

Insight's network, Intouch Worldwide, was drafted in to provide similar services in Germany and The Netherlands when country offices were set up in these regions. The central co-ordination and planning at Insight cut down the amount of management time required from the INS marketing team.

When Lucent Technologies acquired INS into its NetCare division, a major event was planned to brief the European press on the changes and to launch the first product from this new organisation - VitalSuite.

Actional was new to the European market when it approached Insight to develop an informative and news focused magazine, aimed at its customers, prospects and partners across Europe.
