IT PR campaigns that succeed
H2O Networks
H2O Networks is revolutionising next generation broadband in Britain. It uses the UK's 360,000 miles of sewers to bring fibre optic networks to the home. Insight was hired to raise awareness of its service and overcome negative perceptions.
Insight's launch pitched Bournemouth, Dundee and Northampton against each other in a race to be the UK's first 'Fibrecity'. Initially seeded at a local level to build excitement amongst residents, the story was then launched at a national level, providing preferential access to the FT, Independent, BBC Breakfast and BBC Online. The campaign achieved widespread coverage worth over £1.5 million in advertising equivalent and gained enquiries from Ofcom, Scottish parliament and a number of councils asking how to become a 'Fibrecity'.
client testimonial
Insight has restored my confidence in PR. The media coverage has exceeded expectations and we can see a real correlation between an article in the paper and prospect calls to the sales team. If I had had to pay for the exposure my costs would have run into the hundreds of thousands of pounds.
