GE Access

GE companies are dedicated to turning imaginative ideas into leading products and services. GE Access is no exception. As a leading distributor of Sun enterprise computing products, its goal is not to merely 'box shift', but be known for the network of support it offers to resellers, including searching out and introducing them to innovative software companies and launching new finance models.

To build its profile in the UK Insight worked in partnership with Sun, planning in advance material and comment to support Sun's major announcements, and to use as a spring board for GE Access' innovations. This 'shadowing the Sun' campaign was complemented by a series of articles successfully placed in target media, each featuring key messages devised by Insight in conjunction with the management team. Results in the UK were seen by GE worldwide as best practice and Insight was asked to roll out its programme across Europe.
