The culture - it's performance that matters
Do you enjoy status and pretentious sounding job titles? Then sorry, we can't help you.
The culture at Insight is very anti-bureaucratic and we hate empire builders, prima donnas and egotistical maniacs. This congenial working environment attracts people to work with us in the first place, and encourages our employees to stay with us for a lot longer than the industry average.
A typical Insight employee is a self-motivated over-achiever. They are great at getting over brick walls - or under them, round them, blowing them up or whatever it takes to get to the other side. Our clients expect the best; and Insight employees only ever provide the best!
Insight employee's care about their colleagues - they don't see them as a threat or as competition. You will need to relish working as part of a team, as team working is the rule rather than the exception.
Developing your career
Insight is committed to the Investor in People standard to help develop our employees' careers. An individual Training and Development (T&D) Plan is put in place three months after joining the company and reviewed every 6 months thereafter. Appraisals with your Team Leader take place on an annual basis.
You take responsibility for your personal development and career success and Insight will provide the environment, expertise and training to support your career.
Being part of Chime
In March 2000 Insight was acquired by Chime Communications and became a cornerstone of its new chime online group of companies.
Chime considers all companies in the group to be experts in their own field and are happy to let us get on with being experts with minimal 'interference'. Being part of the Chime Group has given Insight a lot more visibility in the communications marketplace, and a lot more headroom in terms of future growth, geographic reach and service provision.
In terms of people and skills, we now have access to a much larger pool of specialist communications companies and are able to share skills and career paths with them.
