PR job vacancy - Account Director - Technology North West

Are you an aspiring or current technology media relations account director?

Are you or would you like to be based in Manchester the North West of England yet with a national client portfolio?

Following a number of new client wins Insight has a vacancy for a technology PR account director. 

Based at our Cheshire offices just 10 miles south of Manchester yet within an easy commute of Didsbury, you would be working on a series of blue-chip and smaller technology campaigns.

The role will involve:

• Leading a team of 5 pr professionals – includes 3 account managers
• Managing a range of technology clients across the UK
• Taking responsibility for new business across the team
• Managing the profitability of the team – within guidelines
• Taking an active role in helping the company achieve its goal of doubling its revenue by the end of 2008

The core skills required ideally include:

• 5 years agency experience
• Technology marketing experience – either client or agency side
• Excellent team leadership skills
• Ability to operate in a hands off objective driven organisation
• A commitment to client delight and the highest professional standards.

Future role development will include the potential to become an Associate Director as head of technology PR within the agency and to become closely integrated with the development of the Bell Pottinger Group in technology.

We are offering an excellent package plus car allowance and with a performance related bonus of up to 10% per annum. The role is available immediately.
